After a five month absence I’ve decided to jump into the belly of the beast and resume Impact Wrestling coverage. On this week’s show Samoa Joe makes his return, Austin Aries teams with The Wolves to take on MVP, Kenny King, and Bobby Lashley, and Bully Ray puts someone through a table because that’s just what he does.

IMPACT VIDEO: MVP Has a Posse

IMG_0666

World Champ Eric Young and MVP couldn’t wait until Slammiversary to get their hands on one another, resulting in an impromptu match last night on IMPACT Wrestling. However the challenger came prepared in the form of Kenny King who attacked Young from behind to cause a DQ. A beatdown ensued until Bobby Lashley made his surprise entrance…and promptly joined MVP and King in destroying the World Champion. Looks like MVP has the upper hand heading into next month.

IMPACT VIDEOS: Gunner Visits Samuel Shaw

samuel shaw is nuts

If you thought the saga of Samuel Shaw ended at Sacrifice think again; last night on IMPACT Wrestling TNA caught up with the Christy Hemme enthusiast in the mental ward where he had been committed to following his loss to Mr. Anderson where he received an unlikely visitor in the form of…Gunner. Didn’t see that coming.

VIDEO: MVP Turns on Eric Young, Puts Self in SLAMMIVERSARY Main Event

IMG_9611

Last night on IMPACT WRESTLING MVP announced that he would take on Eric Young for the TNA World Title at SLAMMIVERSARY XII next month in Arlington, TX by attacking the champion without provocation and turning heel, becoming the evil authority figure he just vanquished a month before at LOCKDOWN. So barring any significant storyline curves this will be the main event of TNA’s second biggest PPV of the year. That’s uh…underwhelming to say the least.

SLAMMIVERSARY XII takes place live from the UTA College Park Center in Arlington, TX on June 15th.
