29 years ago today the WWE (then WWF) held its first WrestleMania event live from the mecca of pro wrestling, Madison Square Garden in New York City, featuring a tag team main event as World Champ Hulk Hogan and Mr. T faced off against Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. Let’s see how this show stacks up many years later. My guess is not so well, but maybe I’ll be surprised.
